Annivesary Trip to Italy: Day 4

On day 4 of our trip, we woke up early and walked to the train station where we caught a train to Pisa. We did not visit Pisa but instead got on a "local" train and went to La Spezia. Once we got to La Spezia we fumbled around and finally figured out where to go to get a bus to Portovenere. The bus ride was only about 30 minutes and it was a neat way to see parts of the city and country side. Once we arrived in Portovenere, we dropped off our luggage at the hotel and used the bathroom and then headed out to explore. It was beautiful. We spend the first day in Portovenere just walking around and enjoying the sites, sounds, and smells.
